Canadian Rockies (September/2007)
About the trip
This trip is essentially using various chalets, wilderness huts and hostels as a base to do various day hikes throughout the lakes and peaks of the canadian rockies. day trips average from 5 to 12 miles with average elevation gains of 1000 to 3000 feet. The area is remote and according to those in the know, spectacular for scenery.
My Rockies Pages
- If you are at all interested in what I paid and how I got there, check out my Plan and Cost page.
- Check out the Gear List for this trip which includes my reviews of how each particular item performed for me.
- My Trip Log is also included if you're interested in what happened over the course of the trip. More than likely, the only person who will ever read this is me when im feeling a bit nostalgic. But hey, maybe someone will be really bored one day and need something to do.
