Killington Resort Snowboarding : Killington, Vermont
For the last two years, I've been trying to get to Killington, since it is consistently rated one of the best in the country and either 1, 2 or 3 in the east. So when Brit called and said let's break ouot on Friday night, stay over, get a full day in, and then drive back leaving Sunday open, I was all for it.
K didn't disappoint for me. Good long runs. good snow. Decent lodge. 3 gondolas. Short lines. What else can you ask for?
Costs:
- Hotel: $25
- Gas: $120 (2 tanks @ $60)
- Lift Ticket: $70
- Breakfast: $15
- Lunch: $10
The Snow in Coloradois just not the same formula as the stuff we get in the East. It's really dry and light. And, there's just a lot more of it!

The Slopes are great tooo. Lots of long runs. Good blues. Good variety.

On the lift.

Winter Wonderland.

First time the sun was out all day.

Oh my. I like this place.

Last run of the day.
