Surfing San Diego
After trying out snowboarding and falling in love with it, i figured that actual surfing has got to be even better! So I decided, I'm going to get into it. And that is exactly what I did. I took a trip out to San Diego and stayed with my family out there. My uncle hooked me up with a buddy who surfed and borrowed a long board for me... and I was off to the races.
Unfortunately, it was not a good day for waves....and it was WAY harder than I thought it would be. This is as far as I got up! :-)
This was actually the first trip that got me to thinking that I could really get a lot done in just one weekend. As I was brainstorming on different ways I could better use my weekends, the Weekend Warrior concept popped into my head.
